Is RLE right for you?

Refractive lens exchange (RLE) can be a good option if you experience any of the following:

Myopia

Short-sightedness

Hypermetropia

Long-sightedness

Astigmatism

Blurred distorted vision

Presbyopia

Age-related reading blur

RLE works in a similar way to modern cataract surgery, but is performed before a cataract has developed — replacing your eye's natural lens with an artificial one to correct vision at the source.

RLE vs laser eye surgery — which is right for me?

1

Laser eye surgery

Changes the shape of the front of the eye — often best for younger patients with healthy corneas wanting to reduce a distance prescription.

2

Lens exchange

Changes the lens inside the eye — often better suited to patients starting to need reading glasses, with early lens ageing, or wanting a more complete long-term solution

Mr Roberts performed a Corneal graft nine days ago. It is a delicate and intricate eye surgery. He performed it with skill and dexterity. I can now see as well As I can with the other eye. I would highly recommend Mr. Roberts to perform any eye operation. He has great skill and Is kind and very understanding.
